Dr. Brendan Wong, General Dentist
Devoted to the health and happiness of his patients, Dr. Brendan Wong is dedicated to helping his patients love, protect, and strengthen their smiles. He's committed to building lasting connections and helping each person in his care feel as calm as possible throughout every visit, and he’s known for his understanding, soothing, and friendly personality that supports patients of all ages and comfort levels.
Dr. Brendan achieved his doctorate from the University of Western Ontario. He has also volunteered in Nepal and Guatemala, offering dental support and treatments to adults and children without access to proper dental care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Brendan enjoys spending quality time with his family. He also loves hockey, is an avid Leafs fan, and is also a talented musician who plays the piano and guitar.

With years of experience in caring diligently for smiles, Dr. Vernon D’Souza takes great pride in helping his patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Known for his friendly and welcoming demeanor, he’s committed to creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, ensuring you feel at home during each visit.
After obtaining his doctorate from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. D’Souza completed a General Practice Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He then went on to care for smiles in Trenton and Cambridge before moving to Newcastle.
Dr. D’Souza and his wife, Sylvia, are proud parents of two beautiful daughters. He loves spending time with them and his extended family and friends!

In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new destinations through travel.

With over eight years of experience in the field, Cassandra is one of our caring dental hygienists who graduated with Honours from the George Brown Bachelor of Dental Hygiene program. Passionate about promoting oral health and easing dental anxiety, Cassandra is focused on creating a comfortable and welcoming environment in the dental chair. She’s known for helping children and adults who fear the dentist feel at ease, and she takes pride in building trusting, long-lasting relationships with her patients.
Outside the office, Cassandra enjoys being in the company of her dog and two cats at home, and she also loves hiking, camping, and outdoor activities.

Kiran is a valued team member at Newcastle Smile Dental Centre, serving as an empathetic registered dental hygienist with a passion for promoting oral health and wellness. She graduated from The Canadian Academy of Dental Health in 2012 and has diligently cared for smiles ever since.
Outside our practice, Kiran cherishes spending quality time with her children, Kamren and Avaani. She especially loves adventuring with them and making memories!
